The HLWD offers low interest loans for septic system replacement, best management practices installation, and conservation tillage equipment.  Jan Voit, at the HLWD office in Heron Lake, handles these loans. Landowners must contact the HLWD office and complete all necessary paperwork before the project begins to qualify for the program.
